School's starting soon...WOOHOO!!!

I'm so excited for my boys.  They will both be attending Connections Academy, an online public school, this year for school.  It's a self paced curriculum with awesome teachers and staff.  All done at home online, except for state testing.  I can't begin to tell you how much Alex enjoyed it last year.  Although I'm hoping this year he will buckle down and get it together and actually pay attention to his work and try his hardest instead of goofing off most of the time.

School starts for the boys on August 8th, the girls start on the 20th in public schools.

I think we're starting off on the right foot this year too.  Amber is a Senior this year, omg where'd the time go, seems like only yesterday she was in 3rd or 4th grade.  She wants to join the military when she graduates in May 2013.  We just keep reiterating that she has to graduate in order for this to happen.

Andrew no longer lives with us but he will be a junior this year.  I hope he continues to improve and graduate in a couple of years.

Alex is in 8th grade this year. Tony is in 6th and Adrianna is in 4th.  My how times flies.

Well, I'm off to call the Air conditioning place because they still haven't called or shown up and sheesh it's getting warm in here.

Summer is almost over....

Wow, been a couple of months since I've been on here.

School is getting ready to start up again.  Summer is almost over.  It's hotter than heck here lol.  The AC in my living room is trying to bite the dust.  So it's almost as hot inside as it is out.  My poor puppy can't be outside for long periods because he overheats and it makes him ill so we've moved him inside till it cools off.

Well, Here we are a little over a month later. Andrew is living with his mother now. He's been there since last Thursday. Now maybe some of that stress we were all suffering will dissipate. More later. We're going out for dinner =D

Post surgery mending...

So I had surgery on my left wrist on the 16th of January. Had my stitches and all that gauze and stuff taken off on the 30th of January. Now I'm just waiting to heal up some more so I can do things. I'm currently on a 2lb weight restriction. So I'm doing some light crochet projects till it feels better. If I turn it wrong or pull the wrong way it hurts a bit lol.

WOW A whole year AGAIN!!!

Jeez has it really been over a year again...

I really need to keep up with this blog.

I'm having surgery on my wrist monday January 16th, 2012. So there will be no craftiness in my future for at least 30 days or so the doc says. We shall see how I feel.
